El Paso’s Haunted History

I thought I was going to be hard up for stuff to fill this blog up after the holiday break. Silly me!

The following comes from the El Paso Times http://www.elpasotimes.com

The Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society and Haro Paranormal Investigators host monthly ghost tours. Proceeds go toward the restoration and preservation of Concordia Cemetery.

•Concordia Cemetery ghost tours: 9-11 p.m. Jan. 4 and Jan. 11. Take your cameras and become the ghost hunter as you learn about the history, mystery and lore of this historic landmark. $10.

•Downtown El Paso ghost tour: 9-11 p.m. Jan. 18. Walk the streets of haunted Downtown El Paso and hear stories of betrayal, learn the unique symbolism of buildings, and see the deadliest intersection of the Old West. The tour will go inside the remains of the Palace Saloon. It contains adult situations, some adult language and what organizers call “offensive history” and is not meant for children. $10.

•”Angels & Demons: A Paranormal Lecture with Ghosts915″: noon-2 p.m. Jan. 18 at 2nd Floor Contemporary Arts 205 E. San Antonio. Henry Flores will talk about ghosts, spirits, demons and how to tell if your residence is haunted. The talk will include a question-and-answer session. Free.
