Introducing “Zuul crurivastator,” a new species of ankylosaur that was discovered by scientists from the Royal Ontario Museum. The well-preserved skeleton of the 75-million-year-old species, including the skull, tail and armor, was discovered in Montana’s Judith River Formation, buried under metres of rock. Given how much of the dinosaur was found, scientists were able to piece together what it probably looked like when it was alive. And when the images were drawn up, one Ghostbusters fan on the team noted how similar it looked to the demon dog known as Zuul.
Parental advisory for this video. I don’t usually think it necessary to put advisories on the Review Spot, but the figure being reviewed is a bit more risque than usual, so a few parents might not want their little ones watching. We’ll call it PG13 for lack of a better definition.
Dread Central presents a gallery of Scooby-Doo background images from an era where things such as cartoon backdrops and brief animated set pieces were actually created in a way that made them true works of art. (Not to mention, these will make excellent wallpapers come Halloween!)
